OneRihlah is designed as an offline-first application. We prioritize your privacy by keeping your personal data on your own device whenever possible.

A. Location Information (GPS)
To provide its core functionality, OneRihlah requires access to your device’s location:
GPS Coordinates: We collect your device’s GPS location to calculate accurate prayer times based on your current position.
Reverse Geocoding: We may convert GPS coordinates into readable location names (City, Country) using third-party services.
Storage: Your exact coordinates are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
B. App Usage Data (Stored Locally)
All journey-related data is stored exclusively in your device's local storage (Hive database):
Journey Progress: Tracking of Umrah steps, Tawaf rounds, and Sa'i laps.
Preferences: Your chosen prayer calculation methods, theme settings, and font customizations.
C. Automatically Collected Information
Like most mobile applications, we may collect basic technical information to maintain app stability:
Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
Performance Metrics: Anonymous crash logs and metadata to help us fix bugs and improve the user experience.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected solely to:
Provide accurate prayer times and location-based religious guidance.
Enable offline journey tracking and progress persistence.
Improve app performance and resolve technical issues.
Personalize the user interface based on your stored preferences.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
To provide prayer times and location names, we share your GPS coordinates with the following trusted providers:
AlAdhan API: Used to fetch accurate prayer times. Privacy Policy

Hadith API: Fetches religious content. No personal identifiable information is shared with this service.
We do not use any third-party advertising or marketing trackers.
4. Data Storage & Security
No External Servers: Currently, OneRihlah does not use external cloud storage or account synchronization. All your religious journey data resides on your phone.
Local Security: We use technical measures (Hive local storage) to protect your data on-device. However, please remember that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
5. Your Rights & Data Control
Regardless of where you are located (including the EU/EEA under GDPR), we provide you with full control over your data:
Right to Access: All data collected is visible to you within the App’s interface and settings.
Right to Erasure (Deletion): You can delete all your data at any time by:
Using the "Clear All Data" option in the App Settings.
Uninstalling the application from your device.
Note: Because we do not store your data on our servers, once you delete it from your device, it cannot be recovered.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
